orn paper, layered textures, and coastal colour come together in this relaxed mixed-media workshop. Using a wide range of materials — from printed papers and book pages to textured elements, mark-making tools, and unexpected surfaces — you’ll create your own seaside-inspired artwork, from rolling waves and small boats to bold lighthouse designs, with plenty of freedom to experiment and layer materials in your own way.
This is a truly mixed-media session, where collage is just the starting point. You’ll explore a variety of materials and mark-making techniques to build texture and interest, creating unique surfaces and effects throughout your piece.
You’ll learn how to build depth through layering, tearing, and composition, combining different elements to create movement and bring your design to life. With a calm, step-by-step approach and small, friendly group sizes, this workshop is suitable for complete beginners as well as those who enjoy exploring new techniques.
By the end of the session, you’ll have created a finished mixed-media artwork, professionally framed and ready to take home.
