Paint regularly with Sam Scott
The fortnightly Thursday painting classes are led by Sam Scott, a children’s book illustrator and fine artist, and are designed to be relaxed, friendly, and genuinely enjoyable. Each session focuses on a single painting project that is completed within the class, so you leave with a finished piece every time.
Sam guides the group step by step, making the sessions easy to follow and welcoming for complete beginners, while still offering enough depth for those with some experience. There’s no pressure to be perfect — the emphasis is on learning new techniques, building confidence, and enjoying time being creative in a supportive studio setting. You’ll be encouraged to experiment, ask questions, and work at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
One-day workshops
Our one-day painting workshops are a chance to slow down, focus, and enjoy a full day of creativity without committing to regular classes. Led by Sam Scott, Kerry Munn of Sienna-Rose, or an occasional visiting artist, each workshop is welcoming, well-structured, and easy to follow.
You’ll work on a single painting project from start to finish, with clear demonstrations and supportive guidance throughout. Whether you’re completely new to painting or simply looking for a refreshing creative day, these workshops offer a relaxed, confidence-boosting experience and the satisfaction of leaving with a finished piece.
