Coffee, Cake, ‘n’ Craft – Moravian Star or Moon

Light, shape, and glowing glass come together beautifully in this copper foil workshop inspired by the night sky. In this relaxed Coffee, Cake, ’n’ Craft session, you can choose to create either a striking Moravian star or a softly curved copper foil moon — both timeless designs that catch the light and bring warmth and atmosphere to any space.

Guided by an experienced tutor, you’ll be introduced to the traditional Tiffany-style copper foil technique, learning how to cut, foil, and solder glass pieces before carefully assembling your chosen design. You’ll select from a range of coloured, textured, and clear glass, allowing you to create something that feels bold and dramatic or calm and understated, depending on your style.

This workshop is suitable for complete beginners as well as those with some experience working with glass. With small group sizes, you’ll receive plenty of individual guidance and have time to enjoy each stage of the process at a relaxed pace. Held as part of our Coffee, Cake, ’n’ Craft series every Friday, it’s a wonderful way to switch off, enjoy good company, and learn a traditional glass technique. All tools and materials are included.
