Coffee, Cake, ‘n’ Craft – Pebble Painting

Pebbles, texture, and simple storytelling come together in this gentle and joyful creative workshop. In this relaxed Coffee, Cake, ’n’ Craft session, you’ll create a characterful pebble art scene using carefully chosen stones, working with shape, balance and detail to bring your own ideas to life.

You’ll learn how to select pebbles for expression and composition, then develop your design using simple painting techniques, layered backgrounds and added textures. While examples may be available for inspiration, you’re free to explore any subject you like — from animals and landscapes to abstract, playful or personal designs — creating a piece that reflects your own imagination.

This welcoming workshop is designed for all abilities, with no drawing skills needed. The focus is on enjoying the process and experimenting with materials in a relaxed, supportive setting. With small group sizes, there’s plenty of guidance available while still allowing you to work at your own pace. Held as part of our Coffee, Cake, ’n’ Craft series every Friday, it’s a lovely way to slow down, get creative and enjoy good company. All tools and materials are included.
