While your work is firing, you’ll explore a range of additional glass-decorating techniques using ready-made screens, colourful enamels, and oven-bake paints. These accessible methods are ideal for adding pattern, colour, and personality, whether you’re working in a studio setting or at home.

After lunch, when the fired pieces are ready, you’ll move on to glass etching, followed by decorative finishing techniques using metallic creams and copper foil cut-outs. These final stages add shimmer, texture, and fine detail, bringing your glass pieces together beautifully.

This is a hands-on, technique-rich workshop packed with creative ideas and practical skills. It’s suitable for beginners and more experienced makers alike, and particularly valuable for anyone who wants to learn methods that can be continued at home, with or without access to a kiln.
