Terms & Conditions

All courses should be booked through the online booking system on the Teach Me Courses website.

Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.

If a course is booked verbally, by telephone, or through any method other than the online booking system, and payment is intended to be made on the day by card or cash, the booking is still considered binding in the same way as an online booking. Payment will still be expected and the booking treated as confirmed.

If you are unable to attend a course that has been booked, Teach Me Courses may offer one of the following options where possible:

• Transfer to the same course on a different available date
• Transfer to a different course of the same or higher value
• Arrange a mutually convenient date where two or more people wish to attend together
• Transfer the booking to another named person
• Accept a voucher for the value of the course

Course transfers and alternatives are subject to availability.

Teach Me Courses operates a no-refund policy for course bookings.

This is because courses have limited spaces, equipment and materials are prepared in advance, and in some cases external tutors are booked for specific sessions.

Where a customer is unable to attend, the alternative options listed above will be offered where possible.

Vouchers issued by Teach Me Courses:

• Can be used for any available course or workshop
• Can be transferred to friends or family
• Do not expire

Any remaining balance on a voucher is non-refundable but can be used towards another course in the future.

If you are unable to attend a scheduled class or session, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice where possible.

Teach Me Courses may contact students who have not attended a weekly class for three consecutive weeks without prior notice.

Students attending weekly classes are normally permitted to miss up to four weeks of classes, which may include sickness or holidays. Any longer absence due to surgery or personal circumstances should be discussed privately with Teach Me Courses.

In the case of emergencies, please contact us as soon as you are able.

Teach Me Courses reserves the right to charge for missed classes.

Teach Me Courses reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses due to illness, emergencies, tutor availability, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Where this occurs, participants will be notified as soon as possible using the contact details provided at booking.

Where a course is cancelled by Teach Me Courses, participants will normally be offered:

• an alternative date
• a course transfer
• or a voucher for the value of the course

All students attending courses or classes must follow the safety guidance provided within the studio.

Participants must:

• Be aware of health and safety procedures within the studio
• Inform Teach Me Courses of any allergies or medical conditions that may affect participation
• Follow instructions when using tools or equipment

Safety and protective equipment will be available where required.

Students must not operate any machinery or equipment unless they have been shown how to use it and feel confident doing so. If you are unsure about using any equipment, please ask a member of staff for assistance.

Teach Me Courses aims to provide a welcoming and enjoyable environment for all participants.

We expect all attendees to behave respectfully towards tutors, staff, and other students.

Teach Me Courses reserves the right to refuse participation or ask a participant to leave a course if their behaviour is considered disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate.

In such circumstances, no refund will be provided.

Teach Me Courses does not operate a strict minimum age requirement. However, participants under the age of 18 are generally expected to attend with a parent or responsible adult unless otherwise agreed in advance with Teach Me Courses.

Some courses may involve tools, equipment, or materials that require supervision. Teach Me Courses reserves the right to discuss suitability with parents or guardians before confirming a booking for younger participants.

Parents or guardians attending with a participant under 18 remain responsible for their supervision throughout the course.

From time to time, photographs or short videos may be taken during courses or workshops for use on the Teach Me Courses website, social media pages, or promotional materials.

These images may include participants, their work, or the workshop environment.

If you would prefer not to appear in any photographs or videos, please let a member of the Teach Me team know at the start of the course and we will ensure your wishes are respected.

Participants are welcome to take photographs of their own work during the course. If photographs are shared on social media, we always appreciate being tagged where possible.

Participants are responsible for their own personal belongings while attending courses or workshops. Teach Me Courses cannot accept responsibility for lost, damaged, or stolen items.

Teach Me Courses takes reasonable steps to provide a safe learning environment. However, participation in practical craft activities may involve the use of tools and materials.

Participants attend courses at their own risk and are responsible for following safety instructions provided by tutors and staff.

Teach Me Courses will not be held responsible for injuries or damage resulting from misuse of equipment or failure to follow safety instructions.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it cannot be excluded under UK law.

Teach Me Courses may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The most recent version will always be available on our website.
